Laser Light Therapy

Laser therapy is a painless application of healing light applied to your pet to help with the curative process of many medical conditions. The science behind this phototherapy is quite fascinating, as it involves the disciplines of physics and biochemistry. At its simplistic level, laser therapy does three things:  it increases healing, decreases inflammation and decreases pain. We can use our therapeutic laser on the following conditions:  to accelerate the healing of a surgical incision, on hot spots, bite wounds and ear infections. The laser is also useful in treating conditions that cause chronic pain, such as intervertebral disc disease, hip dysplasia, and osteoarthritis.
