Dr. Flaggs, DVM
Dr. Flaggs began her journey in veterinary medicine in 1982 fresh out of high school, when she became an attendant at a large boarding kennel in Baltimore. She then pursued a degree in Veterinary Technology, graduating in 1985 and passing the boards to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. After working at numerous small animal practices in the Baltimore Area and inspecting meat for the Department of Agriculture, she made the committment to become a Veterinarian, receiving her doctorate in 1993 from Virginia Tech. Dr. Flaggs spent 10 years working at small animal practices on the Delmarva Peninsula before opening Cabin Creek Animal Hospital in May 2004. Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Flaggs enjoys spending time with her 2 sons, 5 dogs, camping, driving her vintage orange VW's, running marathons, and hosting her own Blues radio show on the local radio station WHCP. She is currently working on building a boarding kennel behind the hospital. Cabin Creek Bed & Biscuit will have ground broken early summer of 2017.

Liz Gannon, BA
Liz Gannon, BA, joined Cabin Creek in November of 2005. She has a bachelor's degree from Washington College in Environmental Studies. Originally from Chestertown, MD, she has been in the animal care field since 2003. Her professional interests include practice management. As such, Liz is currently pursuing the professional designation of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, CVPM. She is also the member of the VHMA. She likes to read and enjoy a nice glass of wine. Liz and her husband, Frank, own Standardbred racehorses. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the track to watch them race. She and Dr. Flaggs started a non-profit in 2016 called "Fixing Cats For Shore". It is a low-cost spay/neuter program for outdoor cats in Dorchester County. Liz and Dr. Flaggs are currently working on building a kennel behind the animal hospital, Cabin Creek Bed & Biscuit, which is to open the end of 2017. This will offer high-end boarding and grooming for the area.

Heather Conaway, RVT
Heather joined Cabin Creek in September 2014 as a Registered Vet Tech. She received her bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College. After graduation, she passed her boards and became a registered vet tech. Heather lives in her hometown of Delmar, DE and is also a kennel attendant at Ottertail Pet Resort in Delmar since 2012. When she is not caring for animals, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, hiking and spending time with family.

Becky joined Cabin Creek as a technician in April 2015. She has been a vet tech for 5 years. She has a Boston Terrier named Josie. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her fiance, Trevor, her family, and also growing in her faith. She also loves going to NHRA drag races, the beach, tractor pulls, and classic car shows in Trevor's 1969 Nova. Becky is currently in the midst of planning her wedding which is set for June.

Ashley joined Cabin Creek as a receptionist in the fall of 2016. She comes to us with a lot of experience as a receptionist in the human medical field. Ashley has a passion for animals and currently has 4 dogs and a guinea pig for her daughter, Olivia. She has been a Dorchester County resident her whole life and graduated from North Dorchester. When she isn't working, she is traveling around the country with her fiance, David Wilson Jr, enoying trips to the beach, Orioles games, Ravens games, and just hanging out on the boat.
